Family and I are locals “Port Charlotte”, we normally don’t go to ihop however, tonight we experienced the most amazing service during the most unexpected circumstances. Our waiter/server/order checker/host (KEVIN) etc… along with the cook were running the restaurant-“holding the fort” on their own! Whether or not ihop is short staffed or just going through budget cuts, Kevin through his service never showed it and the food was the best ihop meal the family and I has had in a while. Long story short - ihop needs more Kevin’s 😊

Came into IHOP expecting a normal late-night breakfast run and left genuinely impressed because of Kevin. From what we could tell, it was basically him and the cook holding down the entire restaurant. Kevin was taking orders, running food, handling the front, dealing with DoorDash orders, and somehow still managing to keep everyone laughing and taken care of the whole time. Even while clearly juggling a million things at once, he never acted stressed or annoyed and made the service feel top tier. He was funny, super attentive, and honestly the reason the whole experience was so enjoyable. A lot of people would’ve folded under that kind of pressure, but Kevin handled it like a pro. IHOP better appreciate that man because he was carrying the restaurant on his back tonight. Give Kevin a raise immediately.

Today we celebrated Mother's Day with family and friends at IHOP. Lizzy and Bobby exceeded all our expectations, providing us with excellent service and attention. The place was clean and comfortable; the food was delicious and arrived on time, the price was fair, and we had the opportunity to participate in a raffle. I definitely recommend this place. Five stars!

Lizzy was really great at serving us! Very nice and polite with the kids and very fast and attentive. The cooking staff did an awesome job with our food on mother's Day. Everything look fresh and good.
