Christmas day brunch. It was very crowded but we got seated within 10 minutes. Food was good, service was fantastic ( helped my wife who is handicap to a table close to the entrance), atmosphere was holiday cheer with staff dressed up. All and all a great place to have brunch.

First impressions: 9/10 Seating: 9/10 Cleanliness of Dining Area: 9/10 Service:10/10 Speed of Service: 10/10 Speed of food: 10/10(Medium occupancy) Taste of Food: 9/10 Overall score: 9.5/10 Its been many many years since ive been here, and I am still pleasantly surprised by IHOP. Maybe its just because I used to live in kona for 7 years(moved out of hilo but came back) but I miss hilo... I should have never left hilo for kona Thank you IHOP My server was Miya N. Miya was an exceptional and professional server, quick, efficient, and very polite and well mannered and VERY attentive... Personally speaking... ive been in the industrial culinary I dusty for 10 years(as a cook) and ive been to many restaurants... Miya has the qualities if not better than most of the fine dining restaurants in hawaii. To the owner/managers... treat her well, dont let her leave! Give her a pay raise!

The staff are always amazing, friendly and do their best to make sure you have a good experience. Due to its popularity, there are times when it is crowded and there are longer than preferred wait times or food arrival times, but other than that it is a great place to eat and talk story.
