As soon as we arrived waited about 5 minutes to be seated with an empty restaurant. Once the server sat us down she immediately stated let me get you some utensils. Waited for them utensils for a very long time that I was served coffee and had to stand up myself and grab a straw to mix my coffee. It's sad she never return to our table until we was about to leave and ran into the manager. We spoke and he just wanted to make it right and checked in on our order that was just about to come out. Now after speaking with Waldo which stepped up to the plate and attended us and made sure we was satisfied overall. I will suggest having workers there that are more attentive like the Manager Waldo who hands down covered for that server at the time. Now after speaking with Manager the server comes by after not seeing her stopping by our table 30 minutes after she sat us down and ask us if everything is ok. I will 💯 percent would only come back here to this IHOP if the Manager Waldo is on duty. This person handle everything and I wish for nothing more than for Waldo to be recognized in this company for all he does to make sure customers satisfactory is at par. Thank You! Waldo for making it right. Pps. I believe the servers need a bit more training in this type of field where customer service and awareness is being giving.

I am a solo traveler visiting the USA and had a disappointing experience at this IHOP near Jersey Gardens Mall in New Jersey. While waiting, I noticed that a large family was given priority. I completely understand that they were a group of more than five people, and I have no complaint about that. However, after I was seated, I waited about 15–20 minutes and no waiter came to take my order. Despite trying to get attention, I was not served. Eventually, I left without having breakfast. I would also like to mention that the menu looked excellent, and I was genuinely looking forward to trying the food. My disappointment was with the service, not the menu or the restaurant itself. I hope management can improve customer service so that future guests receive timely attention.

Sooo.... I left the ihop on broad street in elizabeth....WERES WALDO....HES AT IHOP.... smiles,great customer service and Speedy service got my food within 7 min of walking thru the door... This place has made a drastic change within three months time for the better.....Maria was very professional and consider it of guess... Shout out.... 2 management , y'all did y'all big one;)

Had a another great experience the other day at the IHOP by the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth. Our server Maria and the new manager Waldo were again both excellent and so kind. We were seated quickly and the food was hot, served promptly and was so yummy. We will for sure be recommending and coming back to this location because of them. Thanks 🙏🏼

Always perfect. We stop here every time we are in town. They have space to park our semi(bobtail) while we eat. Always friendly and feels like they have genuine care for ya. Not just another customer while at work. Big shout out to Stephan, very kind server. And manager man Waldo too. Keep up the kindness. See ya next time.
