Love this iHop in DFW Terminal E! So nice to sit down in a restaurant rather than grabbing something to eat at the gate or on the plane. (Though for people who need to grab and go, they also have that option.) I ordered a cappuccino, veggie omelet, and fruit. Hot nutritious meal and fast, friendly service. Environment is simple and diner-like, and very calm compared to the busy hallways and waiting areas.

Update! Mid March 2026..., I had a nice sit down breakfast experience and was well taken care of by my sweet waitress KeAaron. Overall this was one of the better experiences we've had here in a while. Please enjoy the pictures and videos I've attached to this post. For those of you who appreciate my views, pictures and videos please feel free to follow me your fave Airline Hawaiian Flight Attendant Mel🌺🤙🏼as I travel, explore, and eat around the world one scheduled working layover at a time. The airport terminal E8 IHOP is basically contactless. When ordering, it's via QR code, and there's hardly any interaction w/ your waiter or waitress. Personally, I don't like having to pay for a meal I haven't received and tried first. The food was good like most IHOP's I visited. Hopefully, this will be something the company can look into when it comes to building morale and increasing customers/ revenue. UPDATE!!! Oct. 18, 2023 stopped in to try to get a breakfast to go this morning. The waitress was flagged down by the hostess to take my order, she ignored me, n walked away n back into the kitchen. I sat 10 min. while 3 full tables left and 2 customers who had dined by themselves also exited. Finally, the waitress approached me and asked if I knew what I would like to order. I said yes and gave her my to go order since it took so long to be addressed. I then told her I have about 10-15 min. left now till I need to hop on the Skylink and head to my gate for work. She then proceeds to tell me it's gonna be more than 15 min. More than 15 min. for a kids' french toast breakfast? How? There were only me and two other new sets of customers in her section. The other waitress didn't seem to have many customers towards the back near the exculators either. Everyone else had already had their breakfast and was drinking coffee or their drink. The waitress was rude and didn't seem to care to take my order. So that goes w/ out saying I didn't get to have or even order breakfast before my flight that I'd be boarding in an hour. As a crew member in uniform, I have continuously experienced ill treatment from this restaurant as well as Panda Express in the B Terminal. It's unfortunate. We are literally continuous customers because of our job as aviation employees. I won't be returning here for a while, especially when in uniform.

My experience at iHop today was greatly improved by my waitress Key! She did an excellent job and was not only very professional and attentive, but extremely kind and accommodating! Next time you’re at DFW and you have some time for breakfast, ask for her!

Be aware, this location does NOT participate in the nationwide “bottomless pancakes” promotion because “We are not an IHOP; we are an IHOP Express.” Makes sense—airports are strange that way. Regardless, delicious food and great service!

It's an airport 5 and a city 4. My food was correct and hot which seems to be a rarity these days. The real star of today's visit was the service. I usually find myself being somehow both rushed and ignored while trying to eat at an airport. Gabriella managed to perfectly balance timely service with polite patience.

Approached the greeter, was asked if bar seating was acceptable, it was and was seated quickly. Immediate service from the two bartenders. Ordered water, coffee and the cobb salad. Everything arrived fast, unlimited coffee and water refills and a massive portion of salad! Couldn't finish it! Good value for 20 bucks! Friendly, professional, welcoming service from start to finish. 5 outta 5!

I stopped in on a layover and the server was fast to greet me and I was seated quickly. My food was miraculously fast, hot and very good. I had the Cali burrito and really enjoyed it. It is a large portion. I asked if there was any flavored creamer for the coffee and my server brought International Delight French Vanilla which I loved.

Over 30 years ago I worked as a sever at the International House of Pancakes when they decided to rebrand and become IHOP. I fondly remember the day Norm the IHOP guy came to our location and his parking spot outside with a sign that said “Reserved for Norm, but you can park here too!” Sooooo, whenever I see an IHOP I feel a craving for some French toast. If there’s something that hasn’t changed, it’s the consistency in IHOP breakfast. This location has an interesting balance of grown men drinking beer in the morning at the bar while families with kids eat pancakes. I doubt there’s another IHOP like it.

I stopped by, ordered two eggs over easy with white toast and coffee, requested to cook on a side, different pan w/o any meat on the pan. Fast service, my attendant was Sincare, she was fast, efficient & very courteous. This was my sahoor/sehri meal, before the beginning of my fast. Total With tip $13.15. Oh, Sincare was so kind, she even gave me a coffee to go!
