We had such a lovely experience at IHOP. Darcy took amazing care of us—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure our table had everything we needed without us even having to ask. Great food and friendly attentive staff. This visit I had classic Eggs Benedict and my guest had the country omelette which comes with pancakes. Both were delicious. Service was excellent and efficient. The place sparkled. Everything was clean clean clean! Recommend this location highly!

I’ve been to IHOP in Herndon a few times, and honestly, I don’t get why some people leave such harsh reviews. It feels like some complaints come more from impatience or attitude than from what the restaurant actually offers. Is it a perfect place? No—like any busy spot, especially during peak hours, there can be waits or small mistakes. But that’s normal, and it doesn’t mean the staff is doing a bad job. Most of the time, the employees are working hard, trying to keep up with a lot of customers at once. The food is what you expect from IHOP—good, classic breakfast options, pancakes, eggs, and comfort food that hits the spot. I’ve had consistent experiences, and when something wasn’t perfect, the staff were willing to fix it. People need to remember this isn’t a luxury restaurant—it’s a casual place where real people are doing their best. A little patience and respect go a long way. Not every inconvenience deserves a negative review. Overall, if you go in with realistic expectations, you’ll have a good experience

I’m apart of a theater company and there’s a big number of us. The workers here are so nice and they work so hard!! Food is incredible after a long day of shows. Super welcoming and incredible! The atmosphere is top notch. Will be coming again!!!

We had a great time at this establishment. The server who looks just like the guy from that one tv show (you know which one) (everybody hates ____) 🩷🩷🩷and he works night shift usually that’s when we come and the good Hispanic brother as well I think his name was Jose spiky hair some tatoos on his arm what a nice guy who took great care of us. The food was great as usual, and we came in at an hour where people might not want the most customers, but we were still treated with love and respect we love the pancakes. We love the jalapeño cake we love the french fries everything is good. Everything real good go Pittsburgh Steelers but we didn’t get the jalapeño cake. We got the classic burger with the turkey bacon and it was really good and we got the waffle waffles too and we also got the pancakes but wait these are all at different times I don’t wanna seem like a big bag that I ordered all this food because we went three times in the past week and a half, and it’s just so great big shout out to those servers and also the nice lady who is walking around and checking on everyone. Everyone is nice and it’s a good time and is IHOP nothing is that expensive it’s always comfortable and cozy. Thank you.

Visited last night and it was VERY busy with suhoor (pre-dawn meal) visitors. The wait was 30+ minutes as seating depended on staff availability. Despite how incredibly busy it was, the hosts and servers were kind, accommodating, and attentive. Megan was very hospitable amidst handling greeting, tables, payments, etc. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience at IHOP, and it was even more special because I went with my best friend from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming perfect for relaxing, talking, and enjoying our time together. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and served in generous portions. The service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. It was such a lovely moment to share, full of laughs and good vibes. We truly enjoyed our time and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and quality time with friends or loved ones.
