I love all my experiences at IHOP, my last time in the US I was in that restaurant and it was great, the sirloin tip & eggs is something! The woman who was responsible for our table was so lovely, I don't know her name(blond lady), but thank you!

So i fought myself to put this review and post up but I felt like it needed to be done whereas my son-in-law is from Columbia and has a very heavy accent and took him a long time to learn English and become acclimated. I was in your location Sunday morning having a nice breakfast with my husband and what I saw was so disturbing on so many levels. The ONE WAITRESS that runs around like a crazy person screaming and yelling all the time in the kitchen and and literally gives me anxiety in general i overheard her say to a big family that this was America where we speak English cause I guess she wasn't able to understand what they were asking for and I watched this whole table get upset and actually walk out and leave and then after they left she turned around and try to make it seem like as if they were the ones at fault but I could not believe my ears this is why I generally only come in on two nights during the week when I know a certain waitresses will be there so I know the service that I'm going to get is great. Other days when I come in I pray that she's not my waitress and I really hate to bad mouth anybody on any level but the level of racism and disrespect that I saw at this day and age I'm in my 70s and i grew up seeing all of that not in 2026 were my own grandchild is of the Spanish descent. So it was a direct insult to myself as well as the customer itself I hope something is done and addressed because every time I come in the atmosphere when she's there is just loud and honestly gives me anxiety because there's no reason that anybody should be getting so worked up or loud in a restaurant setting because every time I come the food is always great and the service usually is too.

Don’t let the lower ratings fool you—this IHOP deserves far more credit than it’s getting. My family and I stopped in while visiting the Jersey Shore near Asbury Park, and from start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server made sure everything was perfect, our food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered, and the entire staff worked together with professionalism and a smile. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that still takes pride in great hospitality. Sometimes online ratings don’t tell the whole story, and this is one of those places. If you’re spending the day near Asbury Park and want a dependable breakfast with excellent service, give this IHOP a chance—you may be pleasantly surprised. We’ll definitely be back. Five stars, without hesitation!

Great experience on Easter Sunday morning. I dined alone and arrived for the opening at 7 am. Server PAULA L was terrific: alert, friendly, accurate from beginning to end. I recommend the Split Decision Breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the French toast was almost 2 inches high.
