We recently stopped for breakfast on a drive through western Pennsylvania. The food was exactly what you would expect from IHOP, great selection, generous portions, served quickly. My daughter left her retainer case on the table after our meal and we continued our drive unaware until we were hours away. We wouldn't be back to the area, but Gavin agreed to mail it to our home for our convenience. We greatly appreciated the service he provided, and it made our experience all the better!

Today, I ate at this beloved IHOP. I strolled up with my dearest friend expecting a delightful morning. Oh… how wrong I was. I entered an atmosphere of complete and utter despair with the way these poor employees were treated by these disrespectful customers. My accomplice watched as a poor employee got ridiculed by a random man for no reason other than she messed up where they were meant to sit. Then, as I’m sitting, awaiting and anticipating my beautiful sweet Dubai Chocolate flapjacks, a couple sitting in the booth beside us decided to not just talk to each other and FaceTimed her friend at full volume while having a burping contest. Watching this was like being in a medieval torture method. At this point, I didn’t even want the flapjacks I had been longing for because of these distasteful people. I am so sorry, sweet IHOP employees that you go through this everyday. I can only hope that things get better for you. All of you. (By the way, the pancakes were delicious.)
