I would like to share my experience regarding the service I received from my waitress. I believe good customer service is important because every customer deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated During my visit, I noticed the way the waitress communicated with me, handled my requests, and provided service. I believe a waitress should be friendly, attentive, patient, and professional with every customer.

Update: We went yesterday evening and Our waiter was amazing! He made sure our food came out on time and checked on us throughout our visit. The gentleman at the front also gave us a warm welcome and got us seated quickly. These are the kind of employees IHOP should be hiring—people who genuinely want to work and provide great customer service. Great experience! This place has gone completely downhill. It is NOTHING like it used to be. I went on Saturday at 7 p.m. with my husband and kids, and from the moment we walked in, we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were stared at as if we didn’t belong there. No greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a simple “hello” or “welcome to IHOP.” Instead of doing their jobs, two female employees were standing at the front laughing and joking with a group of males who appeared to be teenagers. In another section of the restaurant, more staff were sitting around on their phones, laid back with their feet up, while loud music played like they were having their own party. By the time we were seated, I was already annoyed by the unprofessional behavior and terrible first impression. When the waitress finally came over, I was already debating leaving. After deciding to give it a chance, I ordered a Pepsi, only to be told they were “out” or that the machines were down and that the ONLY options were cranberry juice or apple juice. Unacceptable. We immediately left and went to the IHOP in Jersey, where we were treated the way customers SHOULD be treated—welcomed, respected, and served properly. IHOP on Aramingo needs serious improvement. Management should be embarrassed. Either train your employees better or replace them. This experience was disappointing and embarrassing, especially for a well-known family restaurant. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and apparent absence of management oversight at the Aramingo Avenue location is deeply concerning. I strongly urge corporate management to address this issue, retrain staff, and ensure this location meets IHOP’s standards. I hope this matter is taken seriously and corrective action is taken. Attached is the picture of half of them standing around.

Had a great experience at IHOP! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the portions were generous. Our server, Sahira, was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her customer service was excellent and really made our visit enjoyable. She definitely deserves recognition! I would definitely come back again. 🥞🍳❤️

I had such a great experience with our server Raymond. I come here a lot, and it’s usually not the best service, but he is a top-tier server and should definitely be recognized for his greatness. He made sure we Had everything we needed and checked on us multiple times without being annoying. I’m happy to finally have a good experience here
