Food was mediocre, didn’t really get the cook of my steak right. Completely over cooked! But my server Jay was amazing! Very attentive and made my daughter face glow when he came with her hot chocolate that had whipped cream , fudge and sprinkles!

Not very busy..took 45 minutes to get our food. It was delicious. But still we were discussing just getting up and leaving when the food finally came.

This was our second go around at this IHOP (Brainerd Rd Chattanooga). The first time didn't go well and I sent an email to corporate IHOP about our experience. A few days later I got a phone call from the manager of this location. He apologized for what happened and offered a free meal for us if we would give them another chance. So, we went back at about the same time as before for an equal comparison. The manager greeted us and assigned a table for us with a very nice staff member. I ordered The Waffle Combo and my wife had the Cinamon Bun Crepe. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner and was served hot. Everything was delicious and met our expectations. We most likely will visit this restaurant again.

Service was great our server, Jerome J, was awesome he was able to accommodate all our request to the best of his ability. Not sure how well the chef around 11pm on Saturday is accommodating to his servers though. Had to send the food back because we asked for items to be done and my hashbrowns were still undercooked. Thank you Jerome J. You made our experience pleasant.

I love going to this location every weekend. Brian always hook me up with the turkey bacon and egg biscuit sandwich. It's always delicious. 5 stars for Brian (the cooker) and the entire evening staff

The veghead in me was disappointed when I ordered my favorite Egg White Veggie Omelette (mmmmm, so good), got halfway through it, and found a piece of bacon in it. 😱 It was obviously from sloppy kitchen work. Grab a handful of bacon for this person's omelette and don't care that some of it fell into the bin of onions that are used for anyone else's omelette. Not only that, but the guy making mine didn't take the time to notice he'd grabbed bacon along with the onions he threw into my omelette.... Or worse, he didn't care. Cross-contamination like that can cause severe illness in someone who's allergic, or even cause death. Kitchens MUST be careful with dropping foods into other food containers and then serving that offending food to customers; especially meats, onions, etc, that people can have reactions to. It's not like they were super busy when we were there. The good news is that when I brought it to the attention of my waiter, he apologized and removed the entire meal from our bill, even though I'd already eaten almost half of it. On another note, this wasn't the fault of the business, but it does land squarely under atmosphere, or whether a person might return to a place of business... We were sitting in a booth directly behind another group of people. The booths were tall, so we couldn't see them, but they weren't bolted to the floor. The person behind me kept jiggling around in their seat which made the entire booth wiggle. It was extremely annoying. I ended up moving to the other side to sit next to my husband.

Driving from Clearwater to Chicago... Chattanooga is usually our mid-way home. Our waitress Anna was awesome, food was pretty good and the restaurant was quiet.

Service was a little longer than usual at an IHOP. But. The young man that was there was alone and handling everything dealing with the restaurant. With that in mind. Service was great.. he needs a raise.
