I have avoided this location for about a year. The service was reliably horrible. The food served cold. I had a business meeting here (not my choice) However It has surprisingly improved greatly. The service was great the food was hot and the server was knowledgeable. It was a huge improvement

We visited the IHOP on Highway 153 in Chattanooga on Mother’s Day 2026, and even with the restaurant packed wall to wall, Sharon made us feel seen and taken care of from the moment we walked in. She handled the crowd, long waits, and nonstop movement with patience and care, not just for my son and me, but for everyone around us. What stood out most was that she checked back in with my son and even came over to speak with him again after we had already been seated. That kind of attention matters. Our server that day was Haley, and she was excellent. Because of the experience we had last week, my son and I came back again today, ordered the exact same meal, and somehow ended up with Sharon as our host again and Haley as our server again, even on the other side of the restaurant. We were so happy to see them both. Sharon and Haley are the kind of people who make customers come back. One is an outstanding host, and the other is the definition of a professional server. IHOP should be proud to have both of them representing the restaurant.
