I had such a fantastic experience at IHOP that I had to leave a review. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, clean, and welcoming, and the staff greeted us with genuine smiles. The whole place felt cheerful, perfect for breakfast or a quick bite. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the classic pancakes with a side of crispy bacon, and everything was cooked to perfection, fluffy pancakes, golden‑brown on the edges, and crispy, seasoned bacon that tasted crispy and freshly prepared. The coffee was hot, smooth, and constantly refilled, which really added to the experience. Our server, Jackson, truly took the experience to another level. He was attentive without being overbearing, remembered our drinks, and checked in at just the right moments to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He was friendly, patient, and had a great sense of humor that made our meal feel even more enjoyable. Jackson also went out of his way to make us feel cared for, he noticed we were with family, offered recommendations from the menu, and even made sure our table was never too crowded or cluttered. It’s clear he took pride in his work, and it shows in how smoothly and warmly our visit went. Honestly, I cannot recommend this IHOP location enough. The food was incredible, the service was exceptional, and Jackson made our visit feel special.

jackson was absolutely wonderful!! we had a few issues with our food and he quickly made sure that we were taken care of. we even had a few chances to chat and he's super nice as well! overall great experience, even with the food hiccups :)

This was the most amazing experience I’ve had at IHOP! We haven’t visited an ihop in over 10 years but today we felt led to the pancakes! My entire family loves this meal, the clean establishment but our favorite was our amazing server Jackson brought such a light to our day! He was friendly, helpful and great with his fast service! IHOP is lucky to have him on their team. What a joy it was to visit this location in Cookeville!

(Read the end if you want a fast review👍🏻) My goodness where do I begin. My sister suggests we go to IHOP for dinner and I acted like any other teenager and said “whatever”, this was by far one of the greatest decisions of my life. First off, no wait. Second, the service, never have I EVER had as great of service as I did from the Grand Chancellor of Hospitality. Jackson. Jackson is the definition of an amazing guy, like how isn’t this guy’s name not as known as Mother Teresa (Please know this is an exaggeration and a humorous joke for anyone who may take offense) because HOLY is he a dawg. Let’s move on to third, the food, impeccable. I come in and see there’s bottomless pancakes and know what my goal is: to eat as many as humanly possible. I ask Jackson about it and he tells me “Most guys come in, ask me about it, and when I tell them it’s bottomless they say they’ll down 12. But most of them get 4 and can’t do any more”… I heard this and had the end clear in my sights. Fourth, the food itself, delicious, I ate a bunch, the meats were juicy and delectable, the egg and hash-browns were heavenly, and the pancakes melted in my mouth like none other ever conceived by mankind (sorry mom, they passed you). Step Five, The Grand Plan, I ventured forth and made it my goal to consume 8 pancakes. I can happily say that I succeeded and survived. I took like an hour to do this but it was worth my time, my mom’s money, and of course my stomach’s space. And step 6, the end game, I took photos of the food and the place, and of course me and Jackson. I beat and set a record for at the very least IHOP Cookeville’s single sitting pancakes eaten record (8 btw if you couldn’t figure it out) and met the single greatest man of all time. Jackson is amazing, ask for him every time you come. Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Try to beat my record of 8 in a sitting. 👍🏻👍🏻🫡🫡🌟🌟
