We went to have brunch for mother's day today. There was no wait when we arrived, we were seated right away. The waiter, Draven, greeted us promptly with a smile. He was great! The food came hot and fresh and everything we ordered was DELISH!

We had such a great experience! Our server, Paul, was incredibly personable and stayed on top of everything throughout our meal. What really stood out was how he went the extra mile for my daughter. He brought her doll a special “dolly drink” and later a “dolly dessert.” Those small, thoughtful gestures turned an ordinary meal into something extraordinary for her! I really appreciated the extra effort and kindness. We’ll definitely be back!

I wish I could give 100 stars for service! Paul was the only server working and he had a pretty decent size crowd of people to serve. He made sure everyone had exactly what they needed, drinks never needed refills, food came out fast and his service was impeccable! This guy needs a raise I’ve never had a server so accommodating. He noticed my aunt was sick and made sure he accommodated us with seating that wasn’t close to other customers as she has cancer. We were traveling through and had to go inside for food but he had absolutely no problem making sure we were taken care of and away from other customers. Even though he was the only server, that’s what you call above and beyond amazing customer service.

I was tired of making breakfast at home, so I headed over to IHOP for National Pancake Day. The Mt Juliet location has loads of windows, which I appreciate on a sunny day. They originally tried to seat me at a booth in the middle of the restaurant, which was way too dark. When I asked to move seats, they were nice about it. I ordered the French Toast, with bacon and scrambled eggs. And since it was National Pancake Day, they gave me a 3-stack for free. The French Toast was big and fluffy, exactly the way I like it. They cooked my eggs just how I like them, and the bacon was crunchy. The pancakes always taste so good, especially once the butter starts melting and mixes with the syrup. My server was very friendly, and he came by regularly to refill my water glass and clear my empty plates. My only knocks are that it’s hard to find something on the menu under $15, and the walls separating the booths on the interior make those seats darker than I like. But if you look closely, there is a Value Menu buried deep in the menu. There are five items that are $7 each, and each one is a full meal rather than something small that leaves you unfulfilled. And you can get a free short stack by completing a survey or redeeming points (aka PanCoins) from the IHOP loyalty program.

Paul was the absolute sweetest and made our Easter so much better! Everything was delicious and I loved the pineapple splasher and my husband enjoyed the dolce de Leche iced coffee! Paul was pulling a one man show and crushing it! Even the playlist was on fire! Thank you so much Paul for a great evening!
