I want to say that ihop is a great restaurant to start the day, your breakfast is good and service is amazing. I want anyone that sees this to have a great day, noon, after noon, or night, because at the end of the day you matter to someone out there. I love ihop and I hope it never shuts down

Visited here with my family last Saturday and had a good experience overall. The food was good, but I did request my eggs scrambled soft and they came out scrambled hard. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything!

Ty was an amazing. She is always so attentive even when the restaurant is packed as it was this past Sunday morning when we visited. Janet and Edward greeted us immediately when we walked in. This is definitely our go to breakfast spot.

This is a good IHOP! Never busy around 5pm. The staff is very friendly and very professional. Colin was our server and went beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our visit. Clean and comfortable IHop. Will be back.! The Wednesday night Burger special is great!!

Went for breakfast. It was super busy, but we were seated quickly. Our order was taken soon after being seated and the food came out timely and correct. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive even though it was a packed restaurant.

Right across from my hotel, in was lively and energetic atmospher and staff with lightning fast service. The pancakes where just what I needed on a cold morning. And the spicy parlando omelet had me ready for the day. Delicious!

This is the very best IHOP we have been to in many years. We were so impressed with the food and service. We couldn't believe that this was an IHOP since they were known for terrible service. We had to go back for breakfast to make sure that this IHOP was for real. We suggest that IHOP corporate use this location in Elizabeth City, NC as an example of how an IHOP should be operated. Thanks to the Manager, Janet and her talented staff.

Food was good, waitress was good, the time we sat at front waiting to be seated is the 4 star, we waited about 10 mins and where getting ready to leave before we where acknowledged, I understand being busy and what not but there where only 3 seated tables and I felt like more attentive response to the front door is always needed

So this one is family owned and we felt it. Service was great. Food not so much. Tried it a second time to see if it was just an off day. Service was decent and they were a little busy for a Saturday morning. Here are what my pancakes looked like, after being the second time...

Made 2 visits to Ihop in Elizabeth City this weekend. I haven't been there in several months. The first visit (Saturday) went flawlessly. Our party of three was seated almost immediately - Nice! The second visit (Sunday) was challenging. Our party of seven was told we would have a 10 minute wait - even though plenty of tables were open... Ultimately, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes to be seated - this is Unacceptable! - especially considering the 3 smaller parties that arrived after us and were seated immediately. *I will attribute this seating/waiting issue to: 1) An Inexperienced Host, and 2) Mediocre Management of Tables, Servers, Host, etc... Ok, so let's talk about the food and service we received once we were seated. They have some new "Fully Loaded French Toast" menu items along with some new, specialty beverages to choose from. Our servers were friendly, professional, and efficient. There were only a few minor missteps during our visits. We ordered a variety of food items, including sandwiches, breakfast food, and a few of their specialty items. Most of the food was very tasty and well-prepared. The orders were correct, and most food arrived after a reasonable wait. I opted to try a Fully Loaded French Toast "Berry'D Treasure" + Bacon and Egg Combo. *I highly recommend this dish! It was fluffy, flavourful, and quite filling. The Combo also makes it an excellent value. I ordered the same dish for both visits - it was great both times! I am looking forward to my next visit because the food was really good! I do not expect to have any issues involving unnecessarily long wait times...

We eat at IHop often and the food has almost always been good, the service not so much and as for atmosphere, not bad, they play decent music. We went last night and the food was good as usual. We like getting breakfast for dinner. We had a waiter (Collin) that was so nice that it was an absolute pleasure to talk with him. He made us feel like we were talking among friends instead of as his customers. But it seemed like the other waiter and possibly the manager had a problem with him and made it known in front of the customers. They actually talk about him behind his back but within earshot of us. We felt this was totally uncalled for and very unprofessional.
