The morning after attending the Ducks Vs. PSU game. My daughter and I wanted a filling., great tasting food . We stumbled upon IHOP when we arrived there were people waiting and we thought this was gonna take forever. We ended. Up getting much faster service than we thought , but that wasn't it the gentleman Named Thomas in the Eugene location was just amazingly gracious, hospitable, personable, and just plain kind . I don't usually write reviews, but this one is well worth my time. If every manager, host , waitress and other staff could meet and greet customers the way he did : OMG dining out would feel the way it was before it started to decline .. Thank you so much for your service Thomas . Oh and it was genuine!!!😄

Kimberly was SO amazing. Next time I come in I want to ask for her. She was very patient, kind and very caring towards my children. The manager Thomas was outstanding as well, he even made paper airplanes for my kids and we just all enjoyed our dining experience so much

I visit the Gateway IHOP frequently with Rob, a developmentally disabled man I support, and I cannot speak highly enough of this location. We eat here all the time, because the food is great and the staff is incredibly accommodating. I want to give a special shout out to the General Manager, Thomas. He and his team consistently take the extra time to acknowledge Rob and make him feel genuinely welcome and happy. As his helper, finding a place where we can count on such an inclusive, kind, and tolerant environment means the world to us. It is exactly what he needs, and we are so grateful for the consistent kindness. Truly a stellar team running a wonderful establishment. UPDATE!!: Another five-star visit for food, service, and atmosphere! Huge shout-out to our waitress, Alexis, who took such wonderful care of Rob and me today. She was warm, attentive, and kept the same welcoming, inclusive energy that makes us love this location so much!

I work with a person with physical disabilities and I was waiting for him to come out of the bathroom. While I was waiting; t? two ladies walked in and stood waiting for a seat for a few moments before they finally sat down and waited for nearly 10 minutes for someone to come and greet them. Also, another gentleman came in to pick up his food and waited and no one came to see the two ladies nor to give the gentleman his food. Darren came up and asked if he could help, and I said "yes, this man's waiting to pick up food and these ladies are waiting to just be seated and they've waited over 10 minutes now, and I have a gentleman in the bathroom that is asking for a male to open the door to let him out of the bathroom". Darren quickly, very politely and with super kindness helped all three situations immediately. I don't believe that his job had anything to do with any of those situations, but he went above and beyond and did it all with a smile on his face and he should be recognized for this. This guy is amazing. Thank you Darren
